Heavy rain begins in Hai Duong on Sept 28 morning

According to the provincial Hydro-meteorological Station, due to the circulation of storm No. 4 in combination with the southwest edge of a strengthened continental high pressure area, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, and thunderstorms in Hai Duong from September 28 to 30.

There is a possibility of whirlwinds, lightning, and gusts of wind during thunderstorms. It is necessary to beware of flooding in urban and low-lying areas.

It is forecast that Hai Duong city will record the highest rainfall in the province this time, from 40 to 70 mm.

Rainfall in northeastern localities of the province, consisting of Chi Linh city, Kinh Mon town, and the districts of Kim Thanh, Nam Sach, and Thanh Ha, will range between 20 and 50 mm.

Southwestern districts of the province, including Cam Giang, Binh Giang, Thanh Mien, Gia Loc, Tu Ky, and Ninh Giang, will record a rainfall of 30 – 60 mm.
