The 1st batch of Chu Dau ceramics exported to the US by sea is expected to arrive in California in about 50 days
According to Tran Duc Phuong, deputy director-general of the company, the 70 m3 cargo, worth over 42,000 USD, includes traditional types of Chu Dau ceramic vases, such as hoa lam ty ba (four-chord-lute-shaped white vase decorated with blue patterns), phu quy (wealth), and phuong hoang (phoenix).
Each product has a stamp and a label with a description of the origin, technical strengths, and cultural value of Chu Dau pottery.
This is an opportunity for American consumers to understand and love Chu Dau ceramics more.
The cargo is being transported by sea and expected to arrive in California, the US, in about 50 days.

The products will be taken to major supermarkets in the US for sale at Christmas.
