Wastewater flow at 25 production and business facilities to be measured

According to the Sub-department of Environmental Protection under the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, from now to the end of the year, the unit will survey and collect information about the current status of operations and take samples at the wastewater discharge points of 25 production and business facilities in the province.

The sub-department will review and classify payers of environmental protection fees for wastewater, take samples and measure the flow of wastewater at the facilities' discharge points.

Facilities that generate domestic wastewater will be subject to the analysis of 15 parameters, and industrial wastewater generators 21 parameters.

The review and classification aim to verify the data declared and environmental protection fees for industrial wastewater paid by the facilities and classify payers of environmental protection fees for industrial wastewater as prescribed.
