First 22 clients enjoy 2% interest rate support

According to the State Bank of Vietnam's provincial branch, by October 18, the first 22 clients of four branches of commercial banks in the province had been supported with a 2% interest rate in accordance with the Government’s Decree 31.

239.1 billion VND in outstanding loans was entitled to the interest rate support, and the clients were assisted with 791.1 million VND in interest.

The number of clients and amount of outstanding loans enjoying the interest rate support accounted for 2.1% and 4.1%% of the total number of clients and amount of outstanding loans eligible for the support, respectively.

As reported by the State Bank of Vietnam's provincial branch on September 30, 9,475 clients with a total outstanding loans of 14,395 billion VND in the province are in business fields entitled for the interest rate support. However, only 1,056 clients with a total outstanding balance of 5,894 billion VND qualify for the support.
