Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban speaks at the 3rd regular November meeting of the provincial People's Committee
The PPC standing vice chairman assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to coordinate with the PPC Office to remake its report on review and proposal of a plan for the provincial industrial cluster (IC) development, including an overview of ICs in the province.
The report should divide ICs into three groups (old ICs, established ICs, and ICs under research for establishment) to work out specific settlement plans.
In each IC group, it is necessary to assess the real situation, the work that has been being carried out, and current limitations and propose measures to be done in the coming time to reach agreement on execution.
The proposal must guarantee allocated IC land norms in the order of priority and be highly feasible to bring into play the efficiency of land use.
The PPC standing vice chairman assigned the provincial Industrial Parks (IPs) Authority to preside and coordinate with the PPC Office and the Departments of Construction, Natural Resources and Environment to absorb comments of participants in the meeting on a report on the planning and development of IPs in the province and prepare a draft report for the PPC’s Party Civil Affairs Board to report to the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board.
It is necessary to give a clear overview and actual situation of active and established IPs and the orientation for IP development in the 2021 – 2025 and 2026 – 2030 periods and jointly review and propose the implementation of IPs in the coming time to the PPC.
The preservation of the area of IPs and adjustment of the location of several IPs in the province in the 2026 – 2030 period were approved to suit the socio-economic development situation of the province and each locality.
The provincial IPs Authority should counsel the provincial authorities to select IPs for construction and development of hi-tech ones, accelerate work for implementation, etc.
