Japanese experts appreciate Red Dragon Company’s cold treatment facility

The delegation inspects the treatment of longans before export to the Japanese market

An expert delegation from the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries inspected an export longan processing and packaging establishment of Red Dragon Co., Ltd. in Viet Hong commune, Thanh Ha district, on November 28 afternoon.

After actual inspection at the establishment, the Japanese expert delegation appreciated the facilities and technology used for preliminary processing, preservation, and export of agricultural products, especially cold treatment to preserve longans before export. The enterprise’s conditions basically satisfy strict standards of the Japanese market.

The company intends to export 10 tons of longans to Japan in the coming time. Longans are purchased and transported to Hai Duong from Dong Thap province for cold treatment, packaging, and export.

Apart from longan, fresh lychee of Hai Duong is also one of the key products exported by the company to Japan.
