79 projects win prizes in Science and Technology Contest for high school students

The Department of Education and Training held a ceremony at Sao Do University on December 18 morning to summarize and award prizes of the provincial Science and Technology Contest for high school students in the 2022 – 2023 school year.

The organizers awarded 79 prizes, including two first, 16 second, 25 third, and 36 fourth prizes.

The two first prizes went to projects “Mung bean cake shaping line” (Nguyen Trai Senior High School for the Gifted, field of physics – engineering) and “The extinction risk of the rare and precious Lichtenfelder's gecko and proposals for conservation in Vietnam” (Le Quy Don Junior High School, field of chemistry – biology).



81 products participate in the provincial Science and Technology Contest for high school students


The Department of Education and Training selected these two projects to compete in the National Science and Technology Contest, scheduled for March 2023 in Quang Ninh.

The contest took place from December 16 – 18 with the participation of 81 projects from 12 district-level Divisions of Education and Training and 30 senior high schools in the province.

The organizers assessed that all projects were meticulously, creatively, and methodically done with both theoretical and practical significance.
