During three New Year holidays (December 31, 2022 - January 2, 2023), about 12,000 people visited some key relics and tourist attractions of Hai Duong for sightseeing, worshipping, and entertainment.

Visitors to Con Son relic

Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site welcomed nearly 5,500 tourists, a surge of more than 500% year on year.

Other relics in Chi Linh, such as the temple of teacher Chu Van An, the temple of female doctor Nguyen Thi Due, Sinh temple, Hoa temple, and Thanh Mai pagoda, received around 2,500 visitors, an increase of 25%.

Key relics in Kinh Mon provincial town also welcomed approximately 2,500 arrivals, up around 60%, and those in Cam Giang district, about 1,000 tourists, a rise of 5 – 10%.

Meanwhile, around 500 people visited Dao Co (Stork Island) tourism site in Thanh Mien district, down about 40% compared to the same period last year.

According to representatives of the relics, the number of visitors failed to meet expectations possibly because there were more people staying at home, returning to their hometown, traveling to localities outside Hai Duong, or working overtime.
