According to a representative of Regent Garment Factory Ltd., on the morning of January 30 (i.e. the 9th day of the 1st lunar month), about 14,000 employees of the company’s facility in Lai Vu industrial park returned to work after the 2023 Tet (Lunar New Year) holidays.
Earlier, around 3,200 employees of the company’s facility 1 in Nam Sach industrial park came back to work on the 6th day of the 1st lunar month.
At present, most garment enterprises are facing many difficulties due to declining orders, leading to labor reduction for lack of jobs or workers’ proactive resignation because of short overtime and low income.
In this context, Regent Garment Factory Ltd. still maintains stable jobs for its workers. The company has so far received enough orders for all employees to work until the end of the 1st quarter of 2023.
Since the beginning of January 2023, Regent Garment Factory Ltd. has exported finished products every week. Its main export markets are the US and Japan.
Despite a lot of difficulties, the enterprise is still trying to find new clients and retain employees to speed up when there are more orders.
The company will strive for exports and revenue in 2023 to rise by 15 – 20% compared to 2022.
