Hai Duong, Suwon to deepen cooperation

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Hung suggests some issues for cooperation between the two localities

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Hung affirmed that over the past 19 years, the two localities had actively coordinated to carry out many practical activities to strengthen the friendly and cooperative relationship in various fields, such as public administration, economy, tourism, culture, and sports with the motto of respecting the socio-cultural identity and traditions of each locality.

The two localities have achieved positive results in investment attraction with RoK businesses making important contributions to the province's socio-economic development.

People-to-people exchange activities between the two localities continue to be implemented in various forms. There also are a lot of projects and non-refundable aid from the RoK in Hai Duong.

The vice chairman of the provincial People's Committee suggested a number of cooperation and exchange issues related to culture, sports, tourism, and investment attraction, especially further cooperation on sports.

He said that the presence of the delegation on this occasion was of great significance towards the 20th founding anniversary of the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two localities.

The vice chairman of the provincial People's Committee believed that leaders of the two localities would continue to pay attention, support, and develop the profound cooperative relationship to propagandize the culture of Vietnam in general and Hai Duong province in particular to the people of Suwon city and vice versa.

Park Yong Min, Director of the Administrative Support Division of Suwon city, thanked the provincial leaders for the cordial reception.

He affirmed that the proposals of the vice chairman of the provincial People's Committee could be realized in the near future and hoped that the two localities would increase visits and exchanges to tighten the relationship and better cooperate in all fields.

Especially, Park looked forward to welcoming a delegation from Hai Duong to Suwon city this October to attend a big local festival.
