The provincial Party Committee Secretary required key traffic projects in the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021 – 2025 period to be soon realized, stressing that modern and synchronous traffic infrastructure holds great significance in the provincial socio-economic development.
As planned, the province will carry out 24 projects to build or upgrade routes connecting the province's inner region with national external transport axes with a total length of 124 km.
District-level People's Committees were assigned to implement 21 key traffic projects with a total length of 140 km and 10 overpasses from 2021 to 2025 with a budget of more than 17,656 billion VND, reported Director of the Department of Transport Vu Van Tung.

There are four traffic cooperation projects between Hai Duong and other provinces in the 2023 – 2025 period, including the construction of Dong Viet bridge with Bac Giang province, Kenh Vang bridge with Bac Ninh province, Hai Hung bridge with Hung Yen province, and An Dong flyover with Thai Binh province, reported the Department of Transport.
