Many of the applicants would like to take the test to work in the manufacturing industry in the Republic of Korea.

Hai Duong is one of five localities across the country with the most workers applying for the test on the first registration day

The Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs had received 337 applications for a Korean language test to work in the Republic of Korea (RoK) under the Employment Permit System (EPS) by 6 pm on March 20, up nearly 100 applications compared to the test held last July.

Many of the applicants would like to take the test to work in the manufacturing industry for good income.

Hai Duong was one of five localities across the country with the most workers applying for the test on the first registration day.

The number of registrants met requirements, but the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs still accepts applications until the end of March 24 as planned.

This time, only Chi Linh citizens are not allowed to register for the test since many local workers are illegally residing in the RoK.
