Five pupils in Hai Duong province have been honored in the "A Thousand of Good Deeds" movement.

Trinh Bach Duong from Cam Giang Primary School in Cam Giang district, Nguyen Nhat Mai from Chi Minh 1 Primary School in Tu Ky district, Duong Quoc Dai from Lien Mac Primary School in Thanh Ha district, and Pham Cong Tung Lam from Ngu Hung Primary School in Thanh Mien district were awarded certificates of merit by the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Vanguard Children's Union.

Nguyen The Cuong from Dinh Van Ta Primary School in Hai Duong city was granted a certificate of merit by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

They were five of 263 delegates representing 1,000 outstanding children who showed good deeds in 2023 to attend a ceremony to mark the 60th anniversary of the "A Thousand of Good Deeds" movement (March 24, 1963 – 2023) and honor outstanding figures in the field.

The event was co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union's Central Committee, the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Vanguard Children's Union, and the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province on March 24 evening.

"A Thousand of Good Deeds" is a patriotic emulation movement for Vietnamese children, lighting up the studious and hard-working spirit, fostering love, kindness, and good and helpful deeds, and affirming the role of children in building and defending their homeland and developing a strong Ho Chi Minh Vanguard Children's Union.
