123 poor, disadvantaged pupils in Gia Loc supported

A leader of the Gia Loc district Women's Union awards scholarships to pupils

123 pupils of 38 junior high and primary schools in Gia Loc district, Hai Duong province, have received 1 million VND scholarships.

All of them overcame poor or difficult circumstances to learn well.

The scholarships were jointly handed over by the March 8 Employment Service Center under the provincial Women's Union, the district Women's Union, and Japan’s Shinnyo-en Foundation on March 27.

123 pupils of 38 schools in Gia Loc district receive scholarships

Funds for the scholarships were non-refundable aid offered by the Shinnyo-en Foundation.

The scholarships will contribute to easing the economic burden of the pupils’ families, thereby motivating them to make more academic achievements.

The Shinnyo-en Foundation has offered scholarships and built schools in Hai Duong since 2018.
