Vietnam plans to invest in over-1,500km North-South high-speed railway

The Politburo has recently asked for opinions of the Party Central Committee regarding the investment policy for a North-South high-speed railway before the Government submits it to the National Assembly at its 8th session.

Politburo members of 13th Party Central Committee

The 13th Party Central Committee (PCC) on August 16 elected Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, member of the PCC, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, and Minister of Public Security, to the Politburo. With this addition, the Politburo now has 15 members as of August 16, 2024.
