The 2022 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival took place with its inherent scale and stature. Especially, the first Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Culture and Tourism Week lured a large number of locals and tourists. The festival alone welcomed about 60,000 arrivals, demonstrating its great pervasive power.
The dynamism and sensitivity of all-level authorities, especially leaders, have blown a breath of fresh air to lure a large number of visitors to Hai Duong, which is evidenced by three events held for the first time in the province.
Those are the 2022 Lychee Harvesting Contest at a garden opening ceremony to pick lychees for export, the 2022 Hai Duong provincial Carrot Harvesting Festival, and the Spring Crop Organic Rice and Ruoi (Ragworm) Festival in Tu Ky.
The three events attracted numerous domestic and foreign tourists and press agencies, creating strong effects and spreading the image of Hai Duong land and people. This is also a hinge for Hai Duong to promote its strengths and develop agricultural tourism products.
The 31st SEA Games events in Hai Duong with many interesting activities associated with Thanh Ha lychee season also left an unforgettable impression on locals and visitors.
The Games ended but opened up many opportunities for Hai Duong, including tourism development.

Tourists at Con Son - Kiep Bac tourism site
Accompanying the tourism sector, enterprises, travel companies, and accommodation establishments have actively participated in events, diversified products, and worked out discount and promotion programs to stimulate tourism needs and create highlights to attract visitors to Hai Duong.
The province welcomed and served 1,231,132 tourists in 2022, a surge of 90 times over 2021, including 50,674 international arrivals and 1,180,458 domestic ones. Tourism revenue reached 573.7 billion VND, up nearly 47.8 times.
Since the tourism was fully opened, the culture, sports, and tourism sectors has actively given advice and taken measures to realize the dual goals of ensuring safe epidemic prevention and developing the economy.
Thousands of Hai Duong tourism publications, photo books, and logos for dissemination to tourists were printed and reprinted.
The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism coordinated with media agencies inside and outside the province to make dozens of video clips, columns, and articles about Hai Duong tourism.
