Conquering Mt Tam Ban

Mount Tam Ban in Hoang Hoa Tham commune, Chi Linh city, Hai Duong province is an ideal place for mountaineering lovers to challenge themselves.

The current cool and dry weather plus beautiful scenery there is very suitable for climbing and sightseeing.

Mount Tam Ban seen from a road in Da Bac hamlet, Hoang Hoa Tham commune. Tam Ban means three adjoining levels of the mountain in three provinces of Bac Giang, Hai Duong, Quang Ninh as part of Dong Trieu range

Tourists can follow a path behind Thanh Mai pagoda in Hoang Hoa Tham commune to climb up the mountain

It takes tourists about one hour to trek an over 1 km route through a maple forest with many steep slopes to reach the top of the mountain

There are old maple trees 4 - 5m high and 3 - 5m wide along the trail to the peak

Trekkers can easily come across rich flora with many blooming wildflowers
