Thanh Ha district authorities have already taken a lot of measures to promote lychee consumption.
The People’s Committee of Thanh Ha district has assigned specific tasks to specialized divisions to organize propaganda and promote lychee consumption, about one month earlier than previous years.
The district will send 1,000 lychee consumption invitations to businesses, organizations, and units; print 1,000 leaflets and 20,000 traceability stamps...
The local authorities will organize a meeting with enterprises and supermarkets in early April to discuss consumption measures and the Thanh Ha Lychee Week in Ha Noi at the end of May.
The locality will coordinate with concerned departments and branches to organize points to introduce and sell lychees and typical products of the province in Ha Noi, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Nghe An, etc.
The district authorities will also jointly promote lychee consumption in a number of cities and border gates such as Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh city.
This year, Thanh Ha authorities pay attention to intensifying contracting for sale of lychees on e-commerce platforms like Sendo, Voso, Tiki, Postmart, and Shopee; organizing the Thanh Ha Lychee Picking Contest themed “Cultural quintessence of Hai Duong” and a ceremony to open lychee gardens and cut the ribbon for export of lychees; propagandizing eco-tourism in the district...
The district has more than 3,000 ha of lychees, of which 400 ha have met Vietnamese Good Agricultural Practices (VietGAP) and 50 ha have been certified to satisfy Global Good Agricultural Practices (GlobalGAP).
U trung trang and u trung gai lychees are expected to be harvested from the second half of May, u hong lychees from early June, and main-crop lychees from mid-June.
The district’s lychee output in 2022 reached 44,000 tons, bringing about nearly 1,400 billion VND in revenue.
