Hai Duong Power Co., Ltd. has taken many measures to shorten power access time for businesses, contributing to improving the provincial investment environment.

Tan A Aluminum Co., Ltd. in Lai Vu industrial park, Kim Thanh district, went into operation in 2020 with a total investment of about 9 million USD.
The company has five production lines with a capacity of around 1,500 tons/ month, one powder coating line, and two wood-grain film coating lines, consuming a great deal of electricity.
Right during factory construction, the company built its own 0.4kV substation to have a stable power source. It took the enterprise only about 3.5 days to be supplied with electricity for production.
“When needing to install a substation to serve the factory, we were supported by Kim Thanh Power very enthusiastically with detailed and specific instructions on necessary procedures. Our dossier was approved in a short time, allowing us to quickly start construction,” said Nguyen Thi Huong, Head of the company’s Department of Administration and Human Resources.
Kim Thanh Power is a typical unit in shortening the time of supplying electricity to customers after dossier completion.
By the end of September 30, the unit had provided electricity for six new specialized substations of customers and 517 customers after public substations.
Kim Thanh Power’s electricity access time is 3.5 days for customers having specialized substations, 2.21 days for customers using domestic electricity, and 2.23 days for customers using electricity for production and business.
“With the ‘customer centric’ motto, we always send professional staff members to provide the fastest support when being requested for power supply or other electricity services,” said Nguyen Duc Tuan, Director of Kim Thanh Power.
As reported by Hai Duong Power Co., Ltd., by September, it took the company 4.5 days to process power supply procedures, 2.5 days fewer than the regulation of Vietnam Electricity and 0.5 days fewer than the direction of Northern Power Corporation, and 71.45 minutes to handle each incident, shorter than the time assigned by the corporation (86 minutes).
To facilitate customers, Hai Duong Power Co., Ltd. has actively applied information technology and digital transformation in all fields, especially business and services.
From the beginning of the year to the end of September, Hai Duong Power received 65,218 online requests for electricity services, accounting for 99.9%.
All customer information has been synchronized by Hai Duong Power in its system. 100% of electricity purchase and sale contracts are signed with customers electronically. Cashless payment for electricity is made by nearly 93% of customers, 5.9% higher than the assigned plan.
In 2022 alone, Hai Duong Power reserves about 500 billion VND to build 41 works to upgrade and renovate the power grid system in the whole province, including many works to repair and upgrade power grids or reduce load for industrial zones and clusters, such as Thanh Ha 110kV substation and T2 transformer of Nguyen Giap 110kV substation.
The unit also often conducts large-scale and regular repair to promptly remedy defects in the power grid system.
