46 Hai Duong athletes, coaches summoned to national teams for SEA Games 32

39 athletes and seven coaches in Hai Duong had been summoned to national teams by March 2 to practice for the 32nd SEA Games.

The majority of them went to rowing and canoeing teams, with eight rowers, nine canoeists, and six coaches.

Shooting and archery teams got 10 athletes and one coach.

There also are three table tennis players, namely Nguyen Duc Tuan, Doan Ba Tuan Anh, and Bui Ngoc Lan.

The list also included athletes and coaches in weightlifting, badminton, diving, track-and-field, fencing, and pencak silat.

Particularly, Nguyen Thi Trang of Hai Duong is the only one summoned for Arnis, the stick-based martial arts of the Philippines which will be held for the first time at the SEA Games.

Most of the summoned athletes have achieved high results at domestic and international tournaments.

They will practice at four locations, including the Ha Noi National Sports Training Center, the Da Nang National Sports Training Center, Bac Ninh Sports University, and the Hai Phong Rowing Center.

The list may be expanded in the near future.

The 32nd SEA Games will take place in Cambodia this May.
